Food & Beverage
Dudick's resinous floor and wall protective coatings stand up to all food and beverage exposures with low-emission formulas meeting ISO, USDA, and FDA food contact standards
For safe, clean, cleanable spaces
Food and beverage floor and wall coatings must help keep these critical spaces clean and safe in addition to protecting them against chemical exposure and abusive daily contact.
Dudick’s food and beverage coating solutions meet all ISO, FDA, and USDA cleanliness requirements and are engineered for high-performance in the:
- Clean-in-place (CIP) areas
- Chemical or food-contact loading/unloading docks
- Production and process floors
- Coolers and freezers
Where aseptic or cleanroom requirements are in place, certain Dudick products feature low-emission formulas and eliminate the risk that processes or products are contaminated via post-cure outgassing. Many also contain biocides that slow or totally prevent the growth of microbial life.
Dudick also offers broadcast aggregate material to create non-slip surfaces that improve worker safety.
Where food science meets coating chemistry
Modern food production processes are highly scientific and finely calibrated. And owing to the unique ingredients, proprietary processes, and varying temperatures and moisture levels within each facility, there’s no way a “standard” floor and wall protective coating system will perform well.
Dudick’s experts understand the matrix of hazards posed by the fats, acids, salts, and other by-products of food and beverage processing. With a strong product portfolio at our disposal, we use this knowledge to develop perfect protection tailored for what you make, and how it’s made.

Understanding FDA- and USDA-approved coatings
All FDA-approved coatings are also USDA-approved. But the inverse is not true.
And because most food and beverage processing facilities contain spaces where both FDA- and USDA-approved coatings and linings are recommended, understanding their differences is crucial to regulatory compliance.
