Streetsboro honors Tom Dudick and Dudick Inc.

December 7, 2015

Dudick, Inc. and its owner, Tom Dudick, were honored Monday November 9th, 2015 by Mayor Glenn Broska and the City of Streetsboro with a proclamation plaque. Dudick, Inc donated an epoxy color quartz floor system which was sealed with a fluoropolymer system to the Streetsboro Fire Department. Not only was the large fire engine room coated and sealed but the EMS squad room was also coated and sealed.

Fire Chief Robert Renholz talked about what made him so proud about the whole project. “Dudick is an international company that is a part of our community and our guys showed a lot of pride. The fire fighters took ownership of this project because this is our home.”

Tom Dudick II, a field technician for Dudick, Inc, said the decision to donate the $50,000 floor came from his father and brother, David, who is the general manager. “We’ve been in Streetsboro for about 29 years,” Dudick II said. “Anything we can do to give back to the community, especially for the firefighters who put their lives on the line, we want to do. It was an easy decision on our part.”

Dudick, Inc employees Jim Wheeler, Nick Gilson, Byron Jacobs and Tom Dudick II were on site instructing the fire fighters and ensuring quality control daily. Each provided supervision during the process, and were critical parts to the implementation of the flooring system.
